Barosaurus and Allosaurus, American Museum of Natural History
Parts of this 140 -million year-old Barosaurus from Dinosaur National Park near Jensen, Utah, once resided simultaneously at three different museums, until dinosaur paleontologist and wheeler-dealer Barnum Brown finagled its relocation to New York City in the 1930's. In 1991 the Barosaurus in the Teddy Roosevelt hall reared skyward to protect its young from an attacking Allosaurus, a position that has inspired much scientific debate.
