Bicycle 0011 - Custom Bicycle Manufacturing in Japan

The final step in creating the custom bike is the hand assembly of the components. This is done by four skilled craftsmen.
Basic assembly, such as the wiring of this brake cable is left for humans, not robots. One worker assembles nearly the entire bike and in the process derives a sense of accomplishment that is often missing from assembly line jobs.
